Hi @mylesahart, do you mean a code for the domain you cancelled a while ago? When you cancel a domain, that means you are giving up access to it. You won’t be able to control its settings anymore. It can go into a redemption status or be auctioned off by the registrar.
If you’d like me to see what it would take to get the domain back for you, please let us know right away.

I’m going to go ahead and reach out to the registrar to see if I can get it back, since the domain is not yet in redemption but could go to that status any day. (Redemption means they charge extra to give it back.)

Yes I think it’s a epp code?? But yes please anything to get it back so I can transfer it to blue host! Many thanks x

Good news! The domain has been restored to your account, can you try running through the steps here to get the EPP code and transfer out your domain?

amazing, I did however get rejected… how can I successfully transfer, as I already paid :(
-
apparently I’m in a 60 lock? any way around this as i had no idea i opted into this as it states

Hi @mylesahart, no worries. The domain won’t need to be renewed again before next year, and you’ll be able to transfer its registration well before then. To be clear, the transfer mainly determines who you will pay for renewal, and it doesn’t need to be renewed anytime soon.
But you can certainly point it to Bluehost now. Just update the domain’s settings here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/Give that a few hours to take effect. Then set a reminder to try transferring again after 60 days.
