Changing to Visual view to edit

  For some reason I cannot change from the HTML view to the Visual view in order to edit my page. I have looked up solutions. I keep saying that there is an option in My profile to check a box but there is not box to check in my profile. Please help! I am really frustrated because I have been using wordpress for a long time and I have never had this issue. I use this website for teaching.
