Changing URL

  I just changed my URL from saarathakvi.wordpress.com to thetaqvibureau.wordpress.com

  However, it has not been applied to the official web address. In fact, my blog only shows up if I use the old URL.

  Help me asap. Please. I need to send this in for an assignment.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Did you fail to export the content out of the old blog at the first URL and import it into the new blog at the second URL? The content will not appear under the new URL unless you either do that or you purchase a site redirect upgrade.

  @saarathakvi: I see that your site’s title under Settings -> General is set to “The Taqvi Bureau” – is this what you changed?

  If you want the URL of your site to be thetaqvibureau.wordpress.com, then you need to follow the steps listed here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  Please note that the final step in changing your site address allows you to keep or discard the old address. If you are changing your site address so that you can use the address for a new site, then you need to keep your old address.
