Changing url

I wanted to change my blog’s url as I am changing my name. I didn’t realize I could change the url, so I thought when I changed my username when I asked it to make a blog with the same name it would replace the url of the one I already have. Once I realized I could just change the url of my original blog, I deleted the new one. However, now that I am trying to change my original url to the new one it is saying it is unavailable, but when its typed in wordpress says the user has deleted it. Help!

Hello there, you can indeed change your blog’s URL. It sounds as if you already know how, but if you required more documentations:

Unfortunately, once a blog title has been registered, even if it’s been deleted, it cannot be used again.
