changing url, but someone has the one you want.

I would like to change my URL to snacksandtracks, but someone already holds this, although their blog is empty of content, i have sent them a message requesting them to use it or let me change mine…do I have any other options, as I don’t really want to leave wordpress.

If you can’t make contact, or if they don’t want to give it up, there are no other options.

There is no expiration date on blogs unused or otherwise. Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
