Changing url look

  Hi, i wonder if there is any way that i could change url look?

  I would like to change http://netartz.wordpress.com/2008/08/07/test/
  on
  http://netartz.wordpress.com/test/

  I know that in erlier version od WP that was possible.

  I am fairly sure you cannot change it.

  You cannot change it…that’s kind of the whole idea about a blog to have the date there….

  Maybe, but im sure that it was possible earlier.
  It is possible when you download WP and install it on server.

  Too bad that changing was blocked.

  You should be able to. When you go to Edit, do you see the permalink underneath the title? There should be a button Edit to the right of it. You can make changes there. I believe I’ve done this a month ago or so.

  You can only change the part after the date.

  As far as changing the permalink structure so that it defaults to a different structure permanently, that is not possible here at wordpress.com. With self-hosted wordpress blogs you can change the permalink structure to anything you wish.

  If you are wanting to change only one or two permalinks, then you can do that as described by raincoaster.
