changing url on a multisite

  I want to modify the url of my site but its a multiSite. I want to change it from http://jackieneonthesis2013.wordpress.com/ to jackieneonthesis.wordpress.com how can I do this? I tried adding wp-config.php to follow some of the steps on line but I was redirected….

  (p.s. it sounds like some of the instructions you found online pertained to self-hosted wordpress.org sites, rather than wordpress.com blogs. For future knowledge, here’s some info to help clear up the difference: .com and .org)

  http://jackieneonthesis.wordpress.com/ – already exists so unless it is your blog you are out of luck

  also you can’t edit php files here, so if you edited php files you are way in the wrong forum and need to go over to WordPress.ORG, also we don’t do multi-site here, it is a variation of WordPress .ORG.

  Also if you just mess with the php files to change an address at WordPress.ORG you will break something if my memory is correct any have a vary big problem
