Changing URL to a new one

  I want to change my url to a new one (but it’s still with .wordpress.com because I don’t have my own). Will I lose all my followers and the sites I follow if I do that? I want to know this first before taking actions because I don’t want to start zero with my followers and the blogs I follow.
