changing URL wordpress blog to another wordpress blog

my address is https://wordpress.com/celebritylessons.wordpress.com
since the name does not reflect what I am writing about, I would like to change it to
https://wordpress.com/christinepalamidessi.wordpress.comSince I get hits on pages for many years, wondering if the name change will change the search engine / traffic when it looks for articles I wrote

If you would like to change your WordPress.com site’s URL, there are options and instructions for doing so here:

Please bear in mind that once changed, that site’s original WordPress.com URL will become permanently unavailable for future use by you or any other user. If you feel that you might need that URL again in the future, you might consider starting a new site with your preferred name rather than changing the name of your existing site.

And yes, there will be an effect on your search engine ranking. That is, I’m afraid, unavoidable any time you change URLs. It generally sorts itself out in a few weeks/months. But there are no guarantees when it comes to search engines.
