changing user name

hi all
i changed my user name and i click on option (change blog url address). now when i logon, i can access dashboard of 2 accounts? the old one and the new one? is that correct? does that mean i can change my blog url address but keep the old one as well? if i want to delete the old one url, how can i do that?

http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/7. The final option presented on this screen allows you to discard your current address. This option will permanently disable the address and you will not be able to reuse it. Only select this option if you are sure you will not use the address again. If you want to redirect traffic to the new blog, you can keep the address and purchase the Site Redirect upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
