changing user name link

it has been pointed out to me that my username link is faulty and takes the viewer to a deleted account. When I attempted to correct that for the second time i was given the same message : This tool is temporary disabled. Check back in a few days. How do I fix this?

Hi. To change the blog linked to your username, you don’t “change the address”. Simply follow these instructions:

Hey thanks for the reply. That’s exactly what I did but thats where i get the tool temporarily disabled response so its not letting me do it.

Then you’re doing it wrong. I recently changed the blog linked to my username (switching from an actual address to no address) without any problems. Look at the instructions again please and try again.

Ok so now I feel dumb. I believe it is fixed now. However I recently made a comment on another blogger’s post and of course my pic and username appears next to the comment. Is there a reason why when I click on that username it still directs me to the deleted site whereas clicking on my username next to my posts here in the forum directs me to the correct site? Shouldn’t it all be the same? And could I just solve that by deleting the comment if possible and then re-commenting? (last question I swear =P)

Sorry, but the change only applies to comments you make from now on.
