Changing user name, will I loose the subscribers I have

  If I change my username will the subscribers I currently have automatically be subscribed to the new username or will I loose them.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They dont’ subscribe to the username; they subscribe to the blog. Nothing will happen to them if you just change username.
