Changing User Roles

  I invited a group of people to my blog as viewers, instead of contributors like I had intended. I can’t figure out how to change their status without resending the invitations- They do not appear in the Users section.

  Hey – if the people are not appearing in your users section then that means that they have not yet accepted your invitation.

  Once a user does accept an invitation you can change their role by going to the users section in your dashboard.

  You’ll see a set of drop down menus above the area where your users appear – the second one is titled “change roll to”

  To change rolls, select the user(s) in the list whose role you’d like to change. Next select the role you’d like apply to the user(s) in the “change roll” drop down.

  Finally, just click the “change” button.
