  How do I change my username? I don’t like how it reads: adamko@lostadamroad. I’d like it to say adamko@wordpress under my Avatar.

  Also, how can I change the background on my website to make it look better? It’s been awhile since i’ve been back on wordpress.

  And how do I reach more people? I’m trying to spread my music.

  A few suggestions:

  • Connect your site to your social networks such as Facebook and Twitter via Publicize
  • Use appropriate tags and categories for your posts so that people in the WordPress community can find your post
  • You can gain a following pretty quickly if you blog regularly and consistently
  • With the above in mind, make sure that you are posting content that is high in quality and unique. Search engines will be much more friendlier to you if that is the case
