Changing username

I’m trying to change me username from @hartssbpdjourney to @ahartsjourney
I followed the help section but the option I want to choose does not appear.
I want all the posts in my current blog to be moved to the new blog address that matches my new blog username.
Here’s what’s missing when I try to change username:
‘If your current username matches your blog address:
Selecting “Yes, change example.wordpress.com to match my new username and discard the old address” will change the address of your current blog. If your new user name is newusername, your blog’s address will be changed to newusername.wordpress.com. (You won’t be able to use the old address again.)’
I’m only getting the option to ‘create a new blog with the new username’ but I don’t want to loose my current blog content.
Please help me move everything over, without loosing content.

Hey there Ruth, that option to rename the site and username at the same time only works if neither the site name or username currently exists. Once one or the other exists, it’ll be unavailable in the system.
Also it seems to be owned by another user currently… is that also your account?
