Changing username back

Hi I changed my username from asrafrate to zebahmedinnz but now want to change it back to asrafrate, but when I try it tells me asrafrate is already taken. Help? :)

Exactly what could you possibly need help with when this is clearly stated in the instructions you used to change your username?
Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. http://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

I’m surprised a name can’t be used? Why? If it’s not registered then why would a word not be usable again?

Volunteers in the forum aren’t privy to WHY staff make decisions like this, but given the amount of identity theft and impersonation on the internet, this seems like a wise choice.
Note you can still change your DISPLAY name on the Profile page.
