Changing Username Back

  How can I change my username back? I created two emails for two separate accounts – but I wanted them to be under one email. So I changed the username on the second account so that I can make a new one under my first. However – it’s saying that the username is unavailable! I really badly wanted that username – is there a way to get it back?

  You can’t and the relevant support doc is crystal clear about that.

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

  Unfortunately, when you change your username you cannot later change back to your original one.
