Changing username that comes out at the time of a post and subscription ?

  I have gone into the username change area but do not understand it completely. I am prompted that I cannot get the user name back. I don’t want it back, but will that mean that my post using that username will go away?

  I want people to be able to subscribe to my blog by writing me at my domain email address. Otherwise I don’t know how to receive requests. The first username I entered isn’t really an email address of mine, just letters and numbers I made up.

  if you change your username, all posts published under the first username will remain. You have nothing to worry about.
