Changing version of PHP

  Hi,
  My website use template Theme ‘The 7’, and is hosted by Godady on a Linux server with version PHP 5.3.
  They have an easy way to change from PHP 5.3, to PHP 5.4 or 5.6.
  Since I have no experience on those subjetcs, I just want to know if it is safe to change from PHP 5.3 to 5.6 with the template Theme ‘The 7’.
