changing web address to .com

  HI,
  I have already opened a web page on wordpress ‘freelazyhours.home.blog’ but I want the address to be ‘freelazyhours.wordpress.com’. can anyone help me out on this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  To use the *.wordpress.com address, please create a new site, and completely skip the first step where you indicate what the site will be about. Then you should see the WordPress.com option for the free address.

  The address change instructions provided above will not work in this case – that’s only for changing from one WordPress.com address to another.

  @kokkieh – could you clarify one point, please? Is the dothomedotblog subdomain now available outside the original project, i.e. anyone can register this WordPressdotcom subdomain? Thanks.

  @justjennifer,

  Anyone can register an available dotblog subdomain by going directly to the landing page for the particular dotblog domain (there are a few others besides home.blog), and we’re currently testing it with a limited number of users in new signups.

  But these are still in testing, so we’re not actively promoting them yet otherwise.
