    Hi there,

    can i get my domain name changed later?

    Do you mean you want to change the current domain name to your new site?

    What is the current domain name?

    If your current domain is hosted somewhere else other than WordPress.com then you can transfer it or map it here at WordPress.com

    @jackrog58,

    do i need the admin info to take it over to you?

    Yes, you will need admin info to get your domain transferred or map here at WordPress.com

    You have two options as I mentioned in my last reply,
    1. Transfer the registration
    Your domain registration and billing will be moved from your current domain provider to WordPress.com. That means in future you’ll manage all aspects of your domain here, including renewal, cancellation, or a future transfer.

    2. Map the domain.
    Your domain registration will stay with your current provider, and you’ll point the domain to WordPress.com instead. Use this if your domain is less than 60 days old, or you have a domain extension that cannot be transferred to WordPress.com. The domain will show your WordPress.com site, and depending on how you point it here you’ll be able to set up email and manage your DNS via our domain manager, but you’ll still need to pay your current provider for the domain’s renewal every year.

    For above both options you will need to have WordPress.com paid plan (Personal/Premium/Business)

    Let me know if need more help on this.
