  I have a word press site that was built by a marketing agency few years ago. I think I want to switch it to this so I can make changes to it.

  I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

  With a plan upgrade, you can connect your existing domain to WordPress.com.

  It’s worth noting that a new annual plan purchase includes a one-year free domain registration. You can use this to transfer your domain to WordPress.com, extending its expiry by a year.
