Changing website address

Hello,
I want to change the address of my website from cactusneedle.wordpress.com to junglefun.wordpress.com. However the ‘junglefun’ domain has already been taken.
But when I go to junglefun.wordpress.com the website is pretty much inactive.
The last and only post made on that website is 2008 and the website has not been set-up it just the default pages.
Is there any way for me to get the junglefun.wordpress.com website? I would like to contact the owner of the address to ask if it can be given to me, but since the last post was made in 2008 I am afraid the owner is no longer available for contact.
It is important for me to get that address, because I have an active and growing Discord server called Jungle Fun that I want to support with a website.Thank you for reading my message. I hope this can be resolved.

We are unable to move a site without the current owner’s consent, even if it has been a while since they last updated it. If you are interested in taking ownership, it’s something you would need to contact the current owner about. I can’t share their contact details with you (for security reasons) so you could try leaving a comment on their site.
If they are happy to transfer ownership to you, they would need to work through these steps:

However, we won’t be able to intervene if they wish to keep hold of it :)

Alright thank you for your response. I will try to contact the owner and hopefully get a reply. If not I need to think of a similar suitable name.
