changing website address

  Hi, thank you for previous answer. I understand that the name Angela.mccabe.com is already taken. How can I then, once I have chosen a new name have my website address changed?
  I’m not able to change the name of my website in order to make it easily reachable by people.
  The actual name is: https://angelamccabepoetry629866681.wordpress.com/
  which makes it really difficult, if not impossible for anyone to get into my website page.
  My name is Angela McCabe and I am 67 years of age. The current address has been made by a person who has moved abroad.
