Changing Website Completely – How?

    We currently have a website http://www.conrisa.com which has been built in WordPress. The company now want more of a business style site than a blog, so I need to start from scratch. Is there a way I can work on a new site with the same domain name, whilst the other site is still visible to the public? I am a WordPress virgin and don’t know how long its going to take me, but don’t want no internet presence! Any help gratefully received! Many thanks!

    Hi abconrisa,

    conrisa.com is a WordPress.org site hosted by One.com, rather than WordPress.com. We have some information about the differences between the two in this support documentation:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

    Do you want to create the new site here on WordPress.com? Or is your plan to continue using the self hosted version of WordPress (WordPress.org)?
