Changing website host
-
After some research, I think the people that started this site for our non-profit didn’t realize wordpress.com is more for blogging and it is not going to be able to do what we need it to do. We are wanting to migrate the site and domain to a different web hosting site. Is there a way to keep our domain name? Is there an easy way to migrate the site? Any comments is greatly appreciated.

So, a couple things…
1. WordPress.com can be used for blogging, but does not HAVE to be. It is easy to build a static website on WordPress.com. This might help you out:

That depends on what webhost you are moving to and if they can import from WordPress.com. Do you know what webhost you are going to use?

Absolutely. You can point your WordPress.com registered domain to a new webhost using these instructions:
