Changing website host

Hello! I am planning on switching from Host Papa to Blue Host. I’ve been trying to back up my website using UpdraftPlus, but it keeps running into errors and terminating the backup. I would appreciate help with that. Unless I don’t need to back up my site when switching hosts? Also, is there anything else I need to worry about? Or will Blue Host take care of everything for me? I would appreciate any help you could provide.

It looks like you’re in the wrong support forum, sorry! You need help for a WordPress powered site, not a site hosted at WordPress.com. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a little separate, and that can be confusing.

You’ll want to use the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums for any support on managing your site. You can also ask Bluehost about their process, as WordPress.com hosting doesn’t handle that aspect. Hope that helps to point you in the right direction!
