Changing Websites theme?

  Hi People,

  So I am looking to update my websites theme too something new with the least hassle possible.

  I was thinking if I were to build the website separately from our current site and then once everything is working and ready, redirect our current URL to the new site. Is this a reasonable way of going about things. Are there any good tutorials or help pages to take a look?

  Also, the blog that is linked at the bottom of the post isn’t the page I need help with. That’s an old page I used to upload my college work too… ahaha
