Changing what is displayed when using Share buttons
-
When I click on the Share buttons, for example, Facebook at the bottom of my Home Page, the pop-up displays (under the Write Something box) a picture and the word Home and underneath this, it displays the wordpress.com site address, rather than http://www.mybestretirementplan.com. Can I change these values? I really don’t want Home to display in this window, and also want to change the URL that’s displayed. Can this be done?
For the Twitter share button, I click on it and get a window displaying: Home http://wp.me/P1PLBb-2 /via @wordpressdotcom. What is this a shortened version of and also, can I change this to reference http://www.mybestretirementplan.com.
For Linkedin, it also displays Home at the top of the pop-up, but it does reference the correct URL. Why would this have the correct URL and my Facebook link doesn’t? Can I get rid of the Home? It is also pulling in another jpeg that I have on the page and I don’t want an image to be displayed on any of these share features. Can I control this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

For LinkedIn, you can add your customized version of LinkedIn:
http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?&url=%post_full_url%&title=%post_title%For Twitter, see here for a workaround:

Thank you for the tips!
I tried the Twitter workaround, but when I test it out, it just brings me to a blank screen. What have I done wrong here?
Also, when I attempted to add a customized version for Linked in, I received the following message at the top of my Linkedin page:
There was an unexpected problem when completing your request.Lastly, the share buttons for both Linkedin and Facebook are picking up an image from the page I am sharing from and I don’t want an image to be displayed. Can I avoid this completely?

One additional detail…when I clicked on the Share button for Linked in for a given blog entry, it worked perfectly. No images displayed, just the blog entry and my website name, which is what I want to happen in all cases from all pages (for FB and Linkedin).
Can this be done?
