Changing Who Receives ‘Some Plugins Were Automatically Updated’ Email
-
Hi, there’s an issue with my site where someone from my team is receiving these annoying auto-update emails. They want them to stop, but I can’t work it out.
I’ve gone into settings >general and changed the admin email to me, but this hasn’t fixed it.
I’ve inputted the following into my functions.php file
add_filter( ‘auto_plugin_update_send_email’, ‘__return_false’ );I’ve installed the plugin ‘Disable Theme and Plugin Auto-Update Emails’, activated it, and checked the 2 boxes, and this has not worked either.
I’m at a loss here. The only thing I can think of is that when my colleague receives these emails, they say they’re from the http version of the site, which I find to be strange. But I don’t know the workaround here. Any ideas?
