Changing widget title background color
-
I would like to change all of my widgets’ title background color. I have tried several tips I found on the forums but nothing has worked. I am not sure if I start with .widget-title, .widget_title…
Could someone help me get started?
Is this a CSS issue?
Thanks,
Luis

yes, I do.
Could you also explain please how I could reduce the size of the widget title area?

I do not help with CSS editing. Only Staff and one remaining Volunteer do. Please be patient while waiting for them to help. I have flagged this thread so it will be moved to the CSS Forum for you.

If anyone happens to see this thread, I would specifically do the following:
Change the color of the widget title area
Move the title text off the left
Reduce the size of the widget title area (height) -
Padding left value is just a placeholder and you can adjust as necessary. Padding top and bottom are the original values and again you can adjust as necessary.
.widget h3 { background-color: #CC0000; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 10px; padding-top: 10px; }Oh, and dump the margin-right in the following two selectors (set it to 0)
#recent-posts-4 ul li a:link.widget_links ul li a:linkto get the right side to align properly with the widget title backgrounds.
