Changing Widgets
-
When I go to drag widgets back to their ‘nest’ instead of on the sidebar, it will not stay in the nest, it’ll just snap back to the sidebar.
-
Which browser and version of it are your using?
Sometimes doing force clearing of a browser will set things straight again so please do this.
For windows using either IE or FF hold down the crtl and click the F5 key
For macs apple and r
For linux f5Setting that aside you can carefully and slowly drag a widget from the Sidebar box and drag it over to the Available Widgets box. Be sure not to release and drop it there until all the widgets in the box stop moving. Then after your release it click “Save Changes”.
-
Drag it to the bottom left corner of the entire window. Sometimes you may need to drag it to the bottom right (Different operating system/browsers seem to work differently for people in the past). The widget you drag will change shape and then allow you to drop it back in the group. If that does not work try doing a force reload of that page drag it again. You may need to drag it far down the page.
[edit: sorry for the repetition – simultaneous typing]

Did you clear your browser as described above? And did you try to remove the widgets again?
-
It worked for a few of them. However, when I blogroll TT’s blog, it goes into it’s own widget-category
-
You enter links here -> Blogroll -> Add Link
Name: TT’s blog
Address: http://bloggersblurt.wordpress.com
Category Chica Links
Click “Add Link”
That should work. -
-
It can only go to the Category that your assign to it. You can edit it here -> Blogroll (scroll down until you find it and when you do click “Edit”.
Once you are in edit mode look at the Categories box and uncheck “Chica Entertainment” .
Now look for “Chica Links” in the Categories Box and check it
If you can’t see “Chica Links” in the Categories box then type it in and click “Add”
Lastly click “Save Changes”. -
I’m using the latest version of IE and found that changing Page>Encoding>Autoselect helped me to fix this problem. However, please note that my method of fixing the computer is to just indiscriminantly press keys on the keyboard until what I want fixed gets fixed. So, I think this will work.

kcgreenman, it’s always best to state what version of a browser you’re actually running. Latest version of IE is currently the IE8 alpha. Also we’ve had folks state that they’re running the latest version and turned out that they weren’t.
