do somebody can help how to change the width and height of thumbnail images of all posts to the first page of Gazette theme please?

I recently switched from my old retired theme “Titan”, after an extensive search to the Gazette theme, so I’m reasonably familiar with theme after testing it for a few days. I blogged about the change here – http://doncharisma.org/2015/09/06/gazette-theme-a-new-look-for-doncharisma-org/
In short, the answer is NO you can’t, the thumbnail sizes are determined by the theme. Within that :
It MAY be possible to change thumbnail sizes with CSS, but that would require an upgrade ($99) with WordPress to have access to change the CSS code. As I don’t know whether you have that upgrade or are planning it, I won’t research the CSS needed, for now.
Another option would be to change the post format to “image” from “standard”, this gives a larger thumbnail. There are also a couple of other post formats that you could experiment with. WordPress documentation here – https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-formats/
Another option would be to move your site to a self-hosted site, and get a web developer to change the theme to your exact specification (or do it yourself). Another option would be to have a look at the “Canard” theme ( https://wordpress.com/themes/canard/ ), which is very similar to Gazette. I actually preferred Canard as a theme, but I didn’t like the centred menu and a couple of other things. The Canard theme processes the thumbnails slightly differently to Gazette so that might be preferable for you. You can “test drive” the Canard theme using the WordPress customizer ( https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ )
