Changing wordpress.com domain name

  I want to change my url address but I think I may change it again in the future. I am okay with the .wordpress.com extension. It is currently mywebsiteXXXXXXX.wordpress.com

  I went to change it and it says ‘I understand that I won’t be able to undo this change to my site address.’
  Does that mean that once I change it to this new name I won’t ever be able to change it to another .wordpress.com address?

  Actually it means you will not be able to use the old address again. The best we can do is restore the name within 30 days, but the site would be blank. After that you would not be able to use the old name at all.
