changing wordpress email address to own domain name

    I have created a wordpress website (via Ionos hosting) and am recieving emails from (email visible only to moderators and staff). How can i change this from ‘wordpress@’ to ‘admin@’. The information i have found points me to logging in to a wordpress account (which ive had to set-up after designing my wordpress site (tried logging in with my details but nothing was recognised) … but now I’ve created a wordpress account its asking me to either create a domain or transfer a domian.. neither of which i want to do because Ionos is already hosting the domain.

    Im a bit confused. :-/

    Hello there,

    It looks like this is a self-hosted WordPress site, which is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    You would need to reach out to your hosting provider with help in changing that configuration.
