changing wordpress url

  i have a site http://www.chintito.com and i installed wordpress in it a few months back n wa using it as a blog. while i was trying to link it to my wordpress id rubana i put a url rubana.wordpress.com in da dashboard in settings general tab. Now when i try to login to chintito.com i get redirected to rubana.wordpress.com :( can anybody tell me how can i change it

  Contact staff and they can sort it out for you. You’ll need to contact them from the dashboard of your WP.com blog, not the independent one.

  Hi

  I’m new here so pls bear with me.

  Can I have WP installed on my host server (hostgator), do I then log in from my host server or do I need to login through wp.com to start my blog?

  Or is it better to setup the blog in wp.com and then copy it to my host server?

  how difficult is it to change the domain name too?

  paul5t – if you host your own blog, then you need to ask that question at http://wordpress.ORG/support/ because we use different software here.

  If your blog is hosted here ate wordpress.COM, then domain mapping is quite easy. Take a look at the FAQ on Domain Mapping http://faq.wordpress.com/
