Changing WordPress website from localhost to live

  Hello,

  I have a question because I do not find a solution. There are many solutions but I do not know which is right because one of them are payable or one of them work only if you buy domain and hosting.

  I set up WordPress through XAMPP and I made a webpage there. I would like to know if it is possible to change this website from localhost to live without buying domain and hosting. For example if I want to access to my website on another computer.

  To move a self-hosted site to WordPress.com please follow the step-by-step instructions in this guide:

  But, if you’re looking to move your site to another host like Bluehost, you’ll need to seek assistance from WordPress.org forums which can be found at:

  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites. The difference between the two is explained, here:

  You check your website with wordpress.com free plan. Once you will get your website completed with all content you need then you can go with domain name. You need domain name and hosting to publish your website or make it accessible to the world for which wordpress.com is a good option.

  Wordpress.com provides support for your issues and provide accurate server configuration for wordpress based website. Also, you can manage your site very easily through backend here. There are other options as well like you can choose domain and hosting from other hosting providers but wordpress have good support compared to other.

  The forums over at WordPress.org will be the best bet for advice on your localhost install.

  You might start with this subforum:

  Note you will need to sign up separately for those forums as WordPress.com and WordPress.org are 2 separate entities.

  The forums here at wordpress.com are for sites hosted here at WordPress.com and using the WordPress version used here.
