Changing your From address – hotmail address – Instructions?

  Changing your From address – hotmail address – Instructions?
  Hi to everyone. I was able to find indications for the other providers but not for hotmail… any ideas?

  Hi there!

  If I’m not mistaken, Hotmail email addresses operate in the same interface as Outlook email addresses. So, you should be able to use the instructions here:

  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/outlook/add-alias-account

  Are you not experiencing the same thing on your side?

  indeed it worked.
  Do you have any suggestion for apple? I need to configure also the incoming and outgoing mail of a mac user… does the same apply?

  Hi there,

  Great! I’m glad that worked. As far as Mac Mail, within the preferences for each mail account, you should be able to specify the outgoing email server under Account Information. However, I’m not an expert in that! If you’re having trouble, I would recommend contacting Apple support.
