ChaoticSoul Search Widget

Hi I’m using the ChaoticSoul theme. The default sidebar contains the search widget and it defaults with the text “Journal Search”. You can see it here.

When I customize the sidebar and add the search widget there are no options to add/change the text in the search box, so it deaults empty. You can see it here.

It doesn’t look like a search box when it doesn’t default with some text/instructions in it. Is there a way to edit the text in the box or add a search/go button so it’s more clear on what the textbox is for?

    Thanks

When it comes to editing themes at wordpress.com it’s important to understand the limitations of being a blogger on this multiuser blogging platform that we all share. Basically what the theme’s designer chose to have coded into the theme is not something you can change. And on a multi-user platform any change made to any theme would affect all users of that theme. The following thread will clarify the 3 choices available at wordpress.com http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=6406&replies=9

You can of course send staff a feedback request with regard to altering the searchbox in Chaotic Soul. The button is on the top righthand corner of any of your blog pages and it’s advisable that you include a link back to this thread in it.
