ChaoticSoul sidebar problem

  I found another issue about ChaoticSoul sidebar but this problem seems to be different.

  I have been running under the ChaoticSoul theme for a week without any problem. I modified a post and checked a comment as spam, and now the sidebar displays after all of the posts at the bottom of the blog:

  If I diplay a single post the problem persists, even if it doesn’t contain any image that might cause an overflow problem (I actually tried with ALL of them). I even looked for a missing </div> tag in my custom widgets but everything seems to be all right. I really can’t understand what’s wrong.

  My suggestion is to set your blog to display only one post per page, and then go through each post to see which one(s) is/are causing the problem. I took a quick look through and didn’t see anything obvious. You do however have a lot of very messy code.

  My other suggestion is to go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click save changes. Then open each post on your main page, make one change (like adding a space and then deleting it) and then click the update button and wordpress should fix some of the messy code and hopefully once you have gone through all the posts on the first page, it will have fixed the problem.

  Hi thesacredpath, thank you for your support.

  I followed your suggestions:
  – I set the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”
  – I edited all of the posts in my blog as you told me to
  – I displayed only one post per page, looking for the culprit

  EVERY post has the same sidebar problem (even post without any image).

  If I edit the style sheet, setting the content width 7 pixels tighter, the sidebar displays properly (in preview mode, to edit it I should pay). I think the problem is caused by something (couldn’t say what) that overflows the content area squeezing the sidebar down at the bottom of the page.

  IE and firefox on windows displays the page correctly. Using safari and firefox on mac everything’s allright also. I’m running firefox on linux ubuntu..

  Have you got any other suggestion?
