  Does anyone know how I can change the font in this theme to arial? Thanks!

  Site-wide change are only possible with Custom CSS

  Post-wide or paragraph-wide changes can be achieved using HTML
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/

  By the way, it need not be so fussy that you have to make the adjustments for each span or paragraph. Easier to use div style for a post-wide style:
