Characters displaying in wrong order!

This is weird. All over my blog today adjacent letters ‘i’ and ‘f’ or ‘l’ and ‘f’ are displaying reversed.
So my name ‘Afifah’ is displaying as ‘Aiffah’ – it’s not a spelling mistake as it is spelt correctly in the editor.
On the front page of my blog my welcome text currently reads:
“Hello, I am Afifah Hamilton, Medical Herbalist and Clinical Nutritionist. Please spend some time looking around the site, ifnding out about the treatments and special approach to natural health care available at my clinic. “
(interestingly when I copied and pasted it into this thread it came out correctly and I had to edit it to look like the website)
To check the problem is not just my macbook, I have checked the same issue is appearing on my iPad and iphone, but not on my PC (chrome). So it seems to be apple specific. I’ve checked on my partner’s macbook and its wrong on there too.
The issue has only popped up today. It was fine before. Any ideas?
