Charecter encoding issue for readers!

    One of my reader has an issue of character encoding problem in some of my sentence of my posts and she mentions that she uses auto detecting…..never heard such issue in the blog before so is there any way that i can fix this?

    It used to be that we had the option of setting character encoding from within our dashboards, but that option has now been taken out and everything is automatically set to UTF-8 encoding, which has become the defacto standard for encoding and covers all languages. I’ve seen “auto-detect” in email programs, but never seen it in a browser although I don’t have Windows, so possibly it is a Chrome or Internet Explorer issue.

    Do you know what browser and version they are using?

    The problem with trying to set character encoding on your blog to something different than UTF-8 is that it can end up messing up more people than you fix it for. I think that is one of the main reasons wordpress has standardized on that encoding.
