Charge Back and Cancellation of JetPack
-
I am trying to figure out what is going on with my WordPress blog. While I was away on vacation I got emails about Jetpak cancellation and chargebacks. I DID get a charge on my credit card from someplace that was unrecognizable as wordpress, and also tried to call the number and got a recording which took me to a website which also shed no light on what this was about. When I googled the phone number I got dozens of entries about unauthorized charges. I don’t know what to do as they are threatening to shut down my site for up to 80 days while this is in dispute. Any help????
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site you’ve linked to is a free WordPressdotcom site where Jetpack is an integral part of the platform.
From what you say above it sounds like you are referring to a site using the standalone WP (org) software. If so, and you have a Jetpack issue, please contact their support directly as we won’t be able to help you with this here in the WordPressdotcom forums. https://jetpack.com/contact-support/

Hi there,
I can see that you bought a Jetpack Personal Plan from us for $39 on 17 January 2017. A receipt for that payment appears on your billing history page and was also emailed to the address associated with your WordPress.com account.

That payment was disputed on 18 February 2017, causing the plan to be removed from your account and that Jetpack connection to be suspended. This should only affect the Jetpack connection. We have no way to shut down a site not hosted with us, so if someone is threatening to shut down your site, that’s not us. Did you perhaps file a dispute for your hosting fees you pay to your hosting provider as well? If you did, you’ll need to contact them to sort it out.
Regarding the Jetpack plan specifically, you can contact Jetpack support directly via the link @justjennifer provided.
