Charge Part 2

If I have to contact the company where I purchased the domain, how am I supposed to if the domain doesn’t exist/unregistered?

There is no need to start a duplicate thread. You got all the answers in your previous thread at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/charge-68/

I don’t feel like I got all the answers since I’m confused. I was told I have to contact the company where I purchased the domain but that domain doesn’t exist/unregistered and is impossible. I really want to use my gift card to buy something but I can’t until I get the money back which I have no idea how to do it. Should I just tell the gift card support I didn’t authorize the transaction? Part of me doesn’t want to do that because if the purchase was something I did a long time ago (like an item or something) than I got it for free. But part of me feels idk how I could make the transaction and can’t wait anymore. I’m starting to feel a little stressed out :weary:

All the answers are in your other thread! Now it’s up to you to decide what you are going to do.

How are the answers in my other thread. The only thing I see a lot is contact the company of the domain but it’s impossible since it doesn’t exist. It’s like trying to contact an out of business company like Sprint phone

Hey @jillv46!
I totally understand the frustration you’re feeling! To clarify, since the domain doesn’t seem to be registered anywhere at the moment, it’s not tied to any registrar, which is why we’re unable to pinpoint exactly where it was purchased.
As the next step, I’d suggest checking any emails that were connected to the domain to see if you can track down who your domain host was. Or try to remember where you might have purchased the domain or if you have any accounts saved with domain registrars.
I hope this helps point you in the right direction!
