Charge to my credit card

  Hello,

  There was an $80.00 charge to my credit card. I am still on the free version and did not upgrade. Can you please explain to me why I was charged.

  If you’re not sure what the charge is for, you can search for it at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ – enter the transaction details on that form.

  You can also use the Contact Support link on that page to contact the billing support team directly for further help with this. To track down the transaction they may need to get some additional information from you, information that should not be shared on public forums such as this one.

  The account you’re using to post here has never bought anything from us, and we don’t even have a credit card on file for you which we could have charged.

  If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ – enter the transaction details on that form, and it will tell you if that charge exists on our end and what site it’s for.

  You can also use the Contact Support link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
