I have a new credit card to make payment on the website. It is not allowing me to pay the charge or make payment for the website fees. Is there something I need to do first about the original credit card?

Trying to upgrade to premium. The original card I used had an issue with it.
I am putting together this website on behalf of a lawn bowling club so the credit cards are not mine.They gave me a new card to use but it is not allowing me to pay the charge and pay the premium fee for the yeae

This comes uP when I go to pay the charge. Does something need to haopen with the old credit card between the card and wordpress other than paying the charge

Thank you for those details. I see that you issued a payment dispute on this account back in December. The dispute will need to be cancelled through the bank or you will need to pay it.

I cleared the cache, used the new credit card and now it says
That method is not allowed

Refreshed the page and it says this when i try to pay

Yes I am. It seems to be stuck in a loop. The last card was cancelled by the bank. They gave me that one by mistake. Not sure why it is not allowing me to pay the charge

No problem. I’ve sent an email to the email address listed on your account at wordpress.com/me/account/ with a link that you can use for payment.

How long does it take to go into effect as I still get the error when trying to access my website.

Hi its now saying I need to pay the fee as domain has expired. I bought the domain through Godaddy and was using wordpress for the website. I’m very confused by this

It looks like there was a bit of a glitch that caused that you to get that message. I’ve fixed that.
You do not need to pay, that’s already been collected.
When you sign in to wordpress.com/me/purchases/ can you see the upgrades listed there?
The domain is showing your WordPress.com site in my browser.
