Chargeback and Dispute

    Hello. We have already cancelled a dispute for chargeback regarding the payment for renewal of website http://www.schultzgems.com. We have also authorised a payment with a new credit card. However it is taking long time for being charged and the website still offline. How can we proceed so the website is back online? Please let me know. Or if you can do something about it. Thank you.

    When did you cancel the chargeback? We are still seeing that it is active in our system and it usually takes a few days for the system to update once you have canceled it.

    We cancel the dispute two weeks ago. The thing is that, the charge is on my brothers credit card. He, by mistake called the bank and said that he does not recognize this charge. I saw that WordPress blocked the website. So I called him and then he realized that the charge was ok. But the bank cancelled his old credit card and arranged a new card. So he called the bank again to say that the charge from WordPress is ok and that they can proceed with the charge with the new credit card. The bank said it’s ok then but it could take some time. But now it’s taking to long. What can we do about it? So I can be online again with the domain and website.

    Many thanks for that additional information and I’m really sorry to hear that’s happened.

    I’m afraid, you would need to wait for the chargeback to complete for before any further action can be taken.

    If you’re able to get that resolved with the bank, that would be a huge step forward.

    We called the bank. They said we have to wait. It’s part of the process I guess. But I thought maybe WordPress could do something to solve the problem faster. I guess I have to wait then.

    Hi there,

    The bank has informed me to contact WordPress and ask them to charge again the amount in order to proceed with the transaction. The bank said that they do not maintain contact with comercial stablishments to solve this problem. Is it possible to charge in a different credit card? I want to use a different payment method. And have my website back online again. Please help me out to solve this as soon as possible. I want to pay with different credit card and be online again. Thank you,
