Chargeback and site suspension

    On the wordpress article ‘chargebacks & disputes’ it says that your website will be suspended for up to 80 days in the event of a chargeback. Will wordpress really shut down my entire business if I receive one chargeback? Does wordpress intervene like shopify and put payments on hold if there are high risk orders?

    Hi there!

    The guide here: https://wordpress.com/support/payment/chargebacks/ refers to a situation when you start a chargeback regarding your payment for a product on your site like the plan or domain. It is not related to the chargebacks you receive from your clients.
