Chargeback fine

    We registered the account last year from a friend credit card and we later paid her in cash. When this year automatically the money was debited from her account she canceled the payment. We can’t access our account online anymore. Meantime, our domain name was taken by someone else. Now, I tried to pay chargeback fine but it deducted 68.35 Indian Rupees twice from my account but has not accepted my payment. Wouldn’t it be better if you remind people every year and let them decide and pay. Help me solve this problem.

  • Hi @sauhard2011, sorry to hear this happened. I can see you’ve got your domain working again, though, so that’s good.

    About the double fee: can you confirm whether you paid it twice, or whether you just saw two lines on your statement? Sometimes banks and card companies will show an authorization as well as the actual charge, and that can look like double charging even though it’s not. Please check the balance on those or check with your bank to confirm.

    Wouldn’t it be better if you remind people every year and let them decide and pay.
